Honoring Life. Protecting the Journey. House of Zoe and Artemis was inspired by two enduring ideas: Zoe representing life (including spiritually) and Artemis, a symbol of protection. Together, they reflect a place of support and connection for women navigating life’s most meaningful transitions.

The Heart of the House. Welcome in! My name is Lisa Gutierrez and I am a mother of six (3 boys and 3 girls)and a grandmother. Three of my children were born after I turned 40, and my youngest was born at 46 in a planned Freebirth after a Wild Pregnancy. Those experiences did not make me believe every woman should choose the same path I did, but they taught me that women deserve to understand their options, trust themselves, and be supported in making choices that are right for them. Looking back, I realize that so much attention is placed on the baby—rightly so—but after the calls stop, the visitors go home, and life settles into a new normal, many mothers are left wondering, “What about me?”

How I hold space. My approach is rooted in the belief that women deserve information, respect, and support as they make decisions for themselves and their families. There is no single way to experience birth, postpartum, healing, or womanhood. Every journey is personal and every story matters. This is why I began with postpartum care for the Fourth Trimester. I want to be there after the birth, during the long nights, the questions, the healing, and the transition into a new version of yourself. I also offer bereavement support because not every pregnancy ends the same. Those mothers also deserve to be seen and fiercely supported.

The Future & Invitation. House of Zoe and Artemis is growing with me. Soon, I’ll be offering home birth support. In time, I’ll be expanding into women’s circles, workshops, mother-daughter menarche guidance, perimenopause and menopause transition support, and other offerings that honor women through every season of life. If you’re here, I hope you find more than a service. I hope you find someone willing to walk beside you through whatever season you are in, remembering your innate wisdom, strength, and the power that has always lived within you.
